Privacy Policy

Welcome to YouAsk! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

We, at YouAsk, are committed to respecting your privacy and only using user data in an appropriate manner. This Privacy Policy applies to those who use the services offered on the platform or to those whose information has been received in connection with the services used. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, "You" or "Your" shall mean the person who is visiting and accessing the platform. "We," "our," and "us" will be used in the context of YouAsk. The Privacy Policy describes how YouAsk uses and describes the data collected by the platform while services are used, and how the user is expected to use the platform.

The services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, then the platform must be used under the supervision of a parent or responsible adult.

YouAsk reserves the right to make changes and updates to this Privacy Policy and to our Cookie Policy from time to time. If required by applicable law, we will send a notification. If you have any concern or disagreement with the changes, you can discontinue the services and close your account. By continuing to use the services after we send a notice or publish changes, you agree to the changes as per their effective date.

We retain full ownership of all property rights related to the services. The trademarks and logos associated with the services are owned by their respective proprietors.

To use the services on the platform, you will be required to create an account. By doing so, you agree to share your personal information — name, address, email, and mobile number. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password and acknowledge that you are responsible for all activities associated with your account.

We will use the data entered by users on the platform in the following ways:

  • To display relevant posts and services based on their preferences and requirements.
  • To send notifications or emails to users in accordance with their interests and needs.
  • We will not use any personal data for unauthorized purposes.
  • The data will be utilized to improve the platform and services, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • User information will not be used for any non-commercial purposes.
  • The data may be accessed by customer support to assist users and resolve issues effectively.

Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to using your information responsibly and securely. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep your account details up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe there has been any breach of our terms, such as providing false information or engaging in fraudulent activities.

Users are expected to maintain a respectful and courteous atmosphere while interacting on the platform. Any use of offensive language, abusive behavior, or disrespect in any form is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination. Legal action may also be taken without prior notice.

Certain features may require users to be on camera, but this is entirely optional. All conversations and video interactions may be recorded for security reasons and to identify any offensive or illegal activity during sessions. Recordings may also be used to resolve disputes; the internal team will review them to make informed decisions.

By using our service, you agree to provide accurate payment details to ensure successful transactions. Sales tax will be applied as determined by us, and we reserve the right to modify prices at any time. We do not store any payment method information you choose. You are solely responsible for all transactions made.

On YouAsk, hosts and end users are strictly prohibited from requesting personal, professional, or confidential information. Any information collected during a service may not be used for commercial purposes. Violating this policy will lead to legal action without prior notice.

We do not allow the sharing or distribution of copyrighted content. Users are prohibited from uploading, posting, or sharing any material that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. Any violation may result in the removal of content and possible account suspension.

By uploading content to our platform, users agree that the content:

  • Does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or government guidelines.
  • Does not infringe upon any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
  • Is not defamatory, libelous, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or promoting violence against any individual or group.
  • Is not misleading, false, or deceptive.
  • Does not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent affiliation.
  • Does not contain any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Does not harass, bully, or intimidate any other user.
  • Is not harmful to minors in any way.
  • Does not contain offensive or discriminatory material.

We reserve the right to remove, amend, or take action against any content that violates these guidelines or legal regulations, without prior notice. We encourage customers to provide feedback, but it must be respectful, professional, and appropriate. Feedback that contains discrimination or offensive language may be deleted, amended, or modified without prior notice.

Users are solely responsible for their conduct while using the platform. Any action that is deemed offensive, inappropriate, or that violates applicable laws may result in legal action without prior notice. YouAsk reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement in any investigation related to user conduct.

General Usage Policy

We, at YouAsk, are committed to ensuring the proper and fair use of our platform and services. This General Usage Policy applies to individuals who access or use the services offered on our platform, and outlines the guidelines and processes for using the platform and its features.

  • Booking window. Bookings must be made at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled session start time. If less than 6 hours remain, the session is no longer available for booking. Sessions may be booked up to 7 days in advance.
  • Joining a session. The end user may join up to 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. If the end user cannot attend or leaves early, the host must wait a minimum of 10 minutes before ending the session, or for the remaining time, whichever is shorter.
  • User cancellation. The end user may cancel up to 12 hours before the start time and receive a 90% refund. Cancellations within 12 hours are not eligible for any refund.
  • Host cancellation. The host may cancel up to 30 minutes before the start time. In such cases, the amount paid is refunded in full to the end user.
  • No-shows. If both the end user and host fail to attend, the amount paid is refunded to the end user.

If the end user is dissatisfied with the service provided, they may raise a dispute within one day of receiving the service. The internal team will review the matter and, if appropriate, issue a refund to the end user's account.

If the end user ends the session early due to an issue and raises a dispute within one day, the internal team will review the case. Based on their assessment, the end user may be refunded up to 50% of the amount paid, or a higher amount depending on the situation.

If the host is unable to provide the service as agreed, the full amount paid is refunded to the end user. In the event of technical issues, network problems, power failures, or hardware malfunctions on the host's end leading to early termination, the end user may raise a dispute within one day for a possible partial refund.

If, following a thorough investigation, the internal team determines that the host failed to provide the service with all necessary information, the host will not receive payment. The full amount is refunded and processed within 2 working days. Upon successful completion of a service, the payment is transferred to the host's account within 2 working days.

In the referral service, the end user may connect with the host and discuss relevant details, but the decision to proceed with a referral rests entirely with the host, based on their own criteria or assessment of the situation.

Referral Program

We, at YouAsk, are committed to ensuring the fair and transparent operation of our referral program. This policy applies to individuals who participate in the referral program offered on our platform, and outlines the guidelines, eligibility criteria, and the process for earning and redeeming referral rewards.

We're excited to offer users the opportunity to earn rewards through our referral program!

  • For each successful referral, both the referrer and the referred individual receive ₹50 credited to their accounts once the referred user books and attends a service, or offers a service, on the YouAsk platform.
  • Each user is allowed to refer only one individual.
  • This referral program is available for a limited time, and only the first 1,000 users are eligible to participate.

It's a great way to share the benefits of our platform with others and earn rewards in return. Please keep in mind that this program is an initiative for a limited period, and we reserve the right to modify, extend, or discontinue it at any time. Take advantage of this opportunity before it's gone, and help us grow our community!
